m0NESY extends his Falcons contract through 2030

On October 12, 2026, Team Falcons posted a line that usually means a player is leaving: "Ilya @FLCm0NESY Osipov, thank you for everything." HLTV's Sumljiv reported the same Monday that the Saudi organisation had extended the 21-year-old through 2030, with a 1.29 rating across his tenure at the club.

He joined from G2 Esports in April 2025. HLTV called that move a blockbuster.

The report gives 2030 and leaves the fee out

Sumljiv calls it multi-year, through 2030. No fee is stated. A blank is not a figure.

His HLTV profile now lists that contract end as 2030. He was born on May 1, 2005. The team history on the page runs G2 from January 2022 to April 2025, then Falcons from April 2025.

A 1.29 for the tenure, and 1.36 over 35 maps

Across the whole Falcons spell, HLTV's figure is 1.29. The card for the past three months is sharper. Rating 3.0, the site's current model, is 1.36 across 35 maps, with 0.85 kills per round and 0.58 deaths per round.

He sits fifth now, with a peak of first for 25 weeks, second in the 2024 Top 20, fourth in 2025, and the 2024 panel's AWPer of the Year.

Cologne was the first trophy in a Falcons shirt

Trophies tell a thinner story than the rating. HLTV described a long wait, broken at the IEM Cologne Major in June 2026, where he was also Most Valuable Player (MVP). Our account of the Cologne final has the match. It was his first trophy in a Falcons shirt, not his first in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2). G2 had already supplied several.

Seconds, before that title: IEM Melbourne 2025, ESL Pro League Season 22, PGL Astana 2026. The 2030 deal keeps the player who broke the run. It does not reward a stack of trophies after June.

  • April 2025: m0NESY joins Team Falcons from G2 Esports.
  • April 20, 2026: HLTV's news log records Falcons confirming the signing of Finn "karrigan" Andersen.
  • June 2026: Falcons win the IEM Cologne Major, and m0NESY is named MVP.
  • October 9, 2026: Falcons lose two maps to nil against Spirit and leave ESL Pro League Season 24 fifth to eighth.
  • October 12, 2026: Falcons announce the extension through 2030. The HLTV report carries no fee.
  • October 14, 2026: the Thunderpick World Championship starts, with IEM Beijing and a Major in Singapore still ahead.

karrigan, NiKo, TeSeS, kyousuke and zonic are still on the sheet

Finn "karrigan" Andersen, the in-game leader (IGL), Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, René "TeSeS" Madsen, m0NESY and Maksim "kyousuke" Lukin are the five on the extension story's roster block. Danny "zonic" Sørensen is listed as coach. HLTV dates the karrigan confirmation to April 20, 2026, so the man who called the Major is only months into the seat this contract treats as settled.

Elsewhere, clubs have cut after a first piece of silverware. Astralis benched HooXi and jabbi after a first LAN title, in a report on this desk dated October 11, 2026. Falcons extended the AWPer who took the MVP. That reading only works if this lineup and the 1.36 are closer to another title than the placings since June suggest.

October 14 comes before any Singapore defence

BLAST Open Porto 2026 ended third to fourth, and ESL Pro League Season 24 ended fifth to eighth after the October 9 loss to Spirit. Those exits sit in front of the next start. A signature through 2030 does not wipe them out.

The Thunderpick World Championship begins on October 14, 2026. IEM Beijing is the event HLTV lists after it, and the Major in Singapore is where this Falcons group, with m0NESY under contract through 2030, would defend Cologne.
