LCK 2026 playoffs odds: Gen.G favourites, Worlds picture

The League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) 2026 regular season closed on August 23 with Gen.G and Hanwha Life Esports both 19-7, and Hanwha Life already holding a Worlds 2026 berth. Polymarket makes Gen.G the 42% title favourite.

The LCK closed its year-long 2026 campaign on August 23, having replaced Spring and Summer splits with one season divided into Rounds 1-2 and Rounds 3-4. The Season Play-In began on August 26 at Chzzk LoL Park in Seoul; the six-team Season Playoffs run August 29 to September 13. Gen.G head the LCK 2026 playoffs odds at 42 cents on Polymarket — an implied 42%, about 2.38 decimal and +138 American.

How the LCK 2026 regular season finished

The 10 teams were split into a Legend Group and a Rise Group after Rounds 1-2, carrying records forward. Gen.G and Hanwha Life finished level on 19-7 with an identical plus-22 game difference; Gen.G took first, and both earned a double bye into Round 2. T1 and Dplus Kia both went 17-9, T1 seeded third on a healthier 38-21 game record.

Who has actually qualified for Worlds 2026

Only Hanwha Life are mathematically through. Their MSI 2026 win in Daejeon on July 12, a 3-2 defeat of Bilibili Gaming, carried a Worlds berth conditional on reaching the domestic playoffs — met by finishing second in the Legend Group. It also lifted the LCK from three slots to four, and let the fourth seed skip the Worlds Play-In Stage. The top four of the Season Playoffs qualify; nothing else is settled.

“This is the most crucial period when we must maintain peak form for the important tournaments following the end of the season. My form is definitely improving compared to early Rounds 3 and 4,” said Zeka, mid laner at Hanwha Life Esports. (Inven Global)

What the Play-In still has to settle

KT Rolster took the first place on August 26, edging HANJIN BRION 3-2. BRION drop into the August 28 decider against the winner of Nongshim RedForce versus BNK FEARX on August 27. That survivor becomes the sixth playoff team, facing T1 or Dplus Kia in Round 1. Our T1 vs KT Rolster Week 13 odds and prediction covered the form behind this seeding.

Betting Outlook

Favourite: Gen.G at 42 cents on Polymarket as of August 26, 2026 — about 2.38 decimal, +138 American. The event has turned over $3.58m, with Hanwha Life second at 22.6 cents (4.43 decimal, +343), Dplus Kia 19.7, T1 16 and KT Rolster 3.3.

Predicted result: Gen.G 3-2 Hanwha Life in the final, with Gen.G, Hanwha Life, T1 and Dplus Kia taking the four Worlds places.

Markets worth studying:

  • Hanwha Life at 22.6 cents — same 19-7 record and plus-22 game difference as a Gen.G side priced nearly twice as short.
  • Dplus Kia 19.7 over T1 16 — the fourth seed priced above the third, despite T1’s better 38-21 game record.
  • KT Rolster at 3.3 cents — fresh off a five-game win, but the reward is a tie against a rested seed.

What to fade: the Rise Group longshots. HANJIN BRION (0.65 cents), BNK FEARX (0.7) and Nongshim RedForce (0.75) all went 10-16 and must win a six-team bracket from the Play-In. The 10 priced outcomes sum to 105.75%, and most of that overround sits in those legs.
